Yes, I am using Chrome (if matters..) and when I am clicking on Link 9.5.1 I am being re-directed to

http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/smf_addin/message/7625 http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/smf_addin/message/7625

The reason I am doing this is to educate myself on the use of the smfForceRecalculation macro

Thank you the other yahoo quote questions were resolved.

Sounds like Chrome is serving up a cached web page. You may need to use
Ctrl+F5 instead of just F5. The Ctrl+F5 keyboard shortcut says to reload
the current page, overriding the cache.

But I'm only marginally familiar with Chrome.

Have you ever thought about reading the documentation that Randy did such a great job putting together?

Subject: [smf_addin] obtaining data

Hello,

I am sorry, I sent my previous email unfinished.

Could you help me by telling me which functions to use to obtain the following data based on entered ticker:

- company name

- current stock price

- reporting or not same store sales

- earnings report date

- ex-dividend date

- aver. daily volume

The source of data is not important. How the refreshing works?

Thank you

Kaloyan

Kermit

I ask what I want and when I want it, politely! Thanks for your constructivism and enjoy your day.

I can ask what I want and when I want!

Of course, you can. But don't you think it would be more productive if we did not waste Randy's time asking questions that he had already answered dozens of times.

Sorry, I should have been more politically correct in making my suggestion.

In the past, I too, have been guilty of taking advantage of Randy's time and generosity.

Have a nice day

Kermit

Hi,

Was it luck or something but I actually found different addresses for those two tables.

Annual data is located at:

http://markets.ft.com/research/Markets/Tearsheets/Financials?s=AFSI:NSQ&subview=BalanceSheet&period=a http://markets.ft.com/research/Markets/Tearsheets/Financials?s=AFSI:NSQ&subview=BalanceSheet&period=a

Whereas interim data is located at:

http://markets.ft.com/research/Markets/Tearsheets/Financials?s=AFSI:NSQ&subview=BalanceSheet&period=b http://markets.ft.com/research/Markets/Tearsheets/Financials?s=AFSI:NSQ&subview=BalanceSheet&period=b

So only difference is the last letter. Formula is now working but still, thanks.

Best regards: Tommy Holmberg
