maybe i need to update it
btw i tried IE in other PC, the case is the same...which IE cannot connect to reuters only?

On my old (Vista) machine, with an older version of IE, I used to get
messages for various web sites that I needed to upgrade my browser. It
would appear that Reuters is one of those sites that requires a more
up-to-date version of IE.

The add-in is unable to grab the web page using the IE object that EXCEL
uses...so everything for Reuter's would return "Error".

I have two questions: is there a search function within this Yahoo Group? Second, how does one pull in Currencies into the Excel spreadsheet? I'd rather search for the answer among the multitude of questions/answers but don't know how to. Thanks in advance -

You could just use the smfGetYahooPortfolioView() function. The template
has a sample currency ticker symbol in it (i.e. GBPCAD=X).
