When EXCEL saves a workbook, it hard-codes the location of the add-in on
each and every function.

When EXCEL opens a workbook, it sees that hard-coded location and looks for
the add-in in that location. If it finds it there, AND that is the location
the add-in manager says it should be, it removes the hard-coded location
that was part of the function (i.e. it "resolves the link"). If it can't
find the add-in in the hard-coded location, or that location is not where
the add-in manager says the function should be, it leaves the path on the
function (i.e. an "unresolved link").

I have had several people tell me EXCEL gets "confused"; at some point. For
them, freefaller6's suggestion seems to fix things. That is:
