Is historical market cap data available through the SMF Function? I looked through the RCH Element Table but didn't see one.

Not aware of any source. Generating them has been discussed in the past.

What I meant by "cleanest" is most accurate. All data sources have errors.

Most Yahoo data comes from vendors. Vendors that you might be looking at as
a replacement...

I have always noticed that no matter what it is, things tend to get worse over time. Everything tends to decompose.
