My desktop PC died tonight. A Vista dinosaur. And I don't have EXCEL on my Win 10 laptop. So until I get a new desktop PC delivered and setup, I may not be able to answer many specific "how to" questions.

Randy,

Why not just put Excel on your Win 10 laptop. I have Win 10 on a laptop with Excel 2010 and it works fine.

I don't like working on the laptop. I got it so I could have a computer
while I am in bed, with my legs up. The keyboard is very difficult to use.
I moved over my USB Trackball this morning. I've been customizing the
laptop today, and getting more used to Win 10.

If you don't like the Windows 10 start menu you might like alternative instead.

It saved the day when I upgraded my computer to Windows 8, and I have kept it since moving to Windows 10.

RCHGetElementNumber (13878) (Earning per Share (TTM) does not appear to be working. I also would prefer to grab data from Morningstar using the RCHGetTableCell



I wrote the following...


=RCHGetTableCell("http://financials.morningstar.com/ratios/r.html?t=TICKER®ion=usa&culture=en-US",1,"earnings per share","ttm").



This is giving me an error and realize that it is user error, but don't know how to fix the formula. I have read Randy's guidance documentation on RCHGetTableCell, but did not enlighten me. Any guidance from the group on how to correct? Much appreciated.
