Yahoo is now building many web pages from JSON data, so the tables no
longer exist in the source code of their web pages. So many old extractions
are failing.

Unfortunately, I have no access to EXCEL in the near future...?

Why not just get data items "j" and "k" with RCHGetYahooQuotes()?

I set Excel Options Formulas for Manual Recalculation, no recalculate before saving, enable iterative calculation. Select your cells, right click, select Randy's SMF option at the bottom of the dialogue box and select Recalculate selection.

I really like this feature, it works really well for any Excel formula. Randy, is it possible to get this option into my Quick Access Toolbar? It's not listed with the other macros. Thanks

You should be able to set up a QAT button for the macro, but I don't have
access to EXCEL for the next few weeks, so can't give you the details of
the macro itself.

I don't find "Recalculate selection" to be of much use for the add-in. For
a formula that is pulling data from a web page, it doesn't do you any good
to recalculate, because it would just come up with the same value because
it is extracting data from a saved copy of the web page. In order to get a
fresh copy of the web page from the Internet, you need to use
smfForceRecalculation, which requires a full recalculation of all open
workbooks.

Randy,

I have written a number of VBA functions that recalculate with your wonderful 'recalculate selection' feature. I use it a LOT!
