Hi all...
I literally JUST created an MSO365 group that will cover issues with the new
version of Office. This version is confusing because it works with the
Microsoft 'cloud' called SkyDrive...meaning you can put files in your free
cloud account so you can access them from anywhere on multiple devices. So
if you want to start learning about this new version of Office...which will
be out very soon...feel free to jump into my new group, which I'll customize
(make it look prettier<g>, shortly).

Also...If you want to download/install a preview of Microsoft Office 365
(MSO365), I have a personal link you can use. And PLEASE DO use it (see last
link below)! I'll be posting more info on my MouseTrax Facebook page

MouseTrax.com web site, but if you download from my link, it gives me
points. Yes, I'm in a bit of a contest with a couple other MVPs. Whoever
gets the most people to download the preview to check out from their URL
gets an additional 20 free licenses...licenses I don't need so I'll be
giving them away to you folks from my groups. So by helping me get points,
you're also giving yourself many more chances for a free license! <wink>
I do get a couple licenses to start, so I'll be giving those away, as
previously mentioned, here in my groups and also through my MouseTrax
Facebook and TechTrax sites. This week I'll be creating a survey and some of
the Qs will be about using MSO365. So if you feel adventurous...download the
installation (through my link below) and check it out. But you may want to
go check out some intro videos from MS on the program first. And, as always,
if you have questions, either post them to the new MSO365 group, or email me

Understand that although it does install files, it just installs your user
files. The apps are online...in the cloud, where you can store your
document, or store them on your computer as usual. You also have to have a
WINDOWS LIVE account, which is free and just sets up your online area. It's
like the old MS Passport, so if you had that, you use that user/pass for
your live account, or create an account if you don't have one.
Also, know that you can install this preview on your PC that already has
Office. Granted, this is a PREVIEW (i.e., not final version) so you should
use a bit of caution and run a backup or set a restore spot. But I've been
running it and it works fine for me as well as others who have been running
the preview.
