Is there a way to pull the rating from Investors Business Daily? I do have a subsciption and I have seen some posts about IBD.

Check out the RCHGetTableCell-Template-IBD-Stock-Checkup.xls example in the
FILES area of the group.

You'll need to create a security cookie before using it, by logging in with
either the EXCEL Web Query dialog (preferred) or IE.

I am sorry. I am a bit of a novice. How can you create a security cookie before using it, by logging in with either the EXCEL Web Query dialog (preferred)?

I have searched the web with no luck.

You just need to visit the web site and log in. That creates the security
cookie.

OK, I logged in and I think I did everything right, but I am getting ERROR Messages for the data. For example,

=RCHGetTableCell(URLCheckup,1,"=Composite Rating")

Is giving me an ERROR.

Any ideas??

Nevermind. I was pointing to the wrong Add-IN. This worked.

Help. I just started having this error msg come up in Excel and I can't seem to find an answer to solve the problem.

ERROR MSG:

"This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features."

This causes the VB Editor and Macros in Excel to be grayed out. Can't run any macros. I hate to be screwed.

Any help is very much appreciated.

I'm running Office 2013 on a Windows 7 machine.

When does the error message come up?

If you exit and restart EXCEL, can you create a new workbook and use the
add-in functions?
