Re: [ExcelVBA] Drop Down question

Are you using a combo box? If so is it a forms combo box or an activeX combo box? or areyou using a validation list?

How is the list row source set up - Spreadsheet range, spreadsheet named range, typed list?  List filled by vba in the userform's initialisation event?  or what?

How is the data organised?  Is it alphabetical?

I am fairly certain this is the default behaviour of a combo-box.

The source needs to be in alphabetical order for it to work as the combo box just jumps to the next instance in the list which matches (or exceeds) the letters typed.

Hello all,

Is there a way of having a user type in a drop down box and the values of the drop down filter as you type?

Thank You

Jim Wagner
