Does anyone know of a way to get the 3, 6, and 12 month price % change for tickers?
I tried to use MSN, but it looks as though those functions are obsolete now.
Thanks

Check out FinViz. There are several items in the LINKS area of the group on
how to pull data on multiple companies with a single Internet access.

I looked through the FinViz links but I didn't see a way to get the % price changes at different periods. Is there a way to use FinViz to do that? Thanks

Nevermind, I think the performance options will do that.

Dear Randy,
Thank you for SMF updates, they are very useful. I know that AdvFn.com created the mess, hopefully they stabilize their WWW site and it will be more SMF-friendly. AdvFn sometimes use "non-standard" symbols, e.g. JWA instead of JW-A. Is it possible to retrieve company name from AdvFn.com for a given symbol (I didn't find such SMF element)?
Thank you
Ju Chang

When I did AdvFN elements, I only did the quarterly and annual financials
pages. I didn't do the "company data" page.
The old URL structure for getting company name would be:
=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.advfn.com/p.php?pid=financials&symbol=MMM",1,"Company
Name:")
The new URL structure would be:
=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.advfn.com/exchanges/NYSE/MMM/financials",1,"Company
Name:")
I don't know what it will be when we get to the "beta" web page they have
designed.
