Hi Randy and the smf_addin Group,
Thank you Randy for the great contribution and support on smf and RCH. I like your solution because it is open and supported.
I have been evaluating portfolio and stock tracking software for the PC. Ran into several difficulties implementing in Excel 2013. It is lacks some backward compatibility. My ability with Excel is out of date and have not found a good free source for the specific training I need.
While learning about your add-ins, I came across PowerPivot repeatedly. I mistakenly thought it was an advanced wizard for Pivot Tables. But it turns out to be a means of retrieving data from may types of external sources. It can relate data from several tables. A form of relational database. It appears to me that it could do what your add-ins do. Hence the question.
Hoping you have looked at this feature, What is your opinion of using the RCH add-ins versus PowerPivot?
It appears that support for RCH is growing as more sources come on line and as each source evolves. Does one add-in have an advantage over the other? Say, as to free data and subscribed data?
I'am somewhat of a newbie and looking for a direction to expend my training time.
Thank You,
GarryDL

Your message is the first I've heard of PowerPivot. It appears to be for
version of EXCEL beyond what I have.

I believe PowerPivot was introduced with 2010 as a free download. Not available with RT.

Hi I recent got this add in and love it. But you guys send a ton of emails. Is there a way to turn off emails without leaving group?

Go to your membership settings:

Yahoo doesn't offer those items on the CSV feed, so RCHGetYahooQuotes()
isn't going to be of help.
The documentation on RCHGetYahooQuotes() has all of the Yahoo codes I'm
aware of. Even some that Yahoo has deprecated, which may become active
again.

It's not a field I deal with, so I don't recall anything that is prebuilt.

They have (or used to have) more years on some companies, but four seems to
be the norm.

Fixes done - thanks for pointing them out (and thanks to Randy, who made all of this possible).
Apologies for all the bugs, I've just been flat out on other projects.GuruFocus appears to be making minor tweaks to the layout so some of the fields may change over time.
It would be possible to build something dynamic that pulls the row titles in from the website rather than hardcoding them as I have, but that might be an issue for people who are setting up formulae that need to refer to specific rows. A project for another day.

A big thank you to dancarroll/hamisthedenizen and of course Randy for the GuruFocus 10-year model. I've QC'ed the version on the 'Uploads39; section and have the following relatively minor comments:
Income Statement: Added a row to collect 'EPS (Basic)'
Income Statement: Corrected first few columns of row 8 to have it pull from website
Cashflow Statement: for Net Income changed columns 2 and 3 to pull from other ss cell
Cashflow Statement: Changed title in Column B of 'Deferred Taxes' to 'Sale of Property, Plant, Equipment' to match website and pull data
I QC'd much of the data also. Thanks again!
