This file just gives me #NAME? for almost all the fields.

How do I fix that?

That either means you don't have the add-in installed, or you have location
errors. For location errors, try running the smfFixLinks macro.

I can tell you how I did it in Excel 2010. Assumes you already have the SMF Add-In installed.1) Open the spreadsheet2) Click on the "Enable Editing" link that should open at the top of the spreadsheet3) A window will open, click on the "Edit Links" button4) Once the "Edit Links" window opens, click on the "Change Source" button.5) Navigate to the location of your SMF Add-In file.6) Select RCH_Stock_Market_Functions, and click Okay.7) If the values in your spreadsheet don't update automatically, click on the "Update Values" button.8) Close the "Edit Links" window.

Well, my other spreadsheet works just fine.

This new one does not.

I selected run macro, and pasted smfFixLinks in the macro name field and clicked run.

It still does not work.

I'm using Office 2010 on my desktop.- If the spreadsheet is open, click on Data, Edit Links. This will open the Edit Links window.- With the RCH_Stock_Market_Functions.xla file highlighted, look at the Location just below the windows horizontal scroll bar.- The file was originally set to use the .xla file at C:\Users\pat\Documents\SMF Add-in.- You need to change the source to get it to point to your SMF Add-in folder. I'm not sure where yours is installed. On my system it's C:\SMF Add-In. To make that change, click on the Change Source button, then navigate to your SMS Add-In folder, highlight the RCH_Stock_Market_Functions.xla file, and click OK. This will put you back at the Edit Links window.- Wait for a few moments and you should see the "Location:" entry pointing to your own SMF Add-In folder.- If the links don't update automatically, click on the Update Values button, then Close the Edit Links window.

I've been using a workbook from a couple years back that was retrieving 10 years of annual financial data from Gurufocus (most cells retrieving data using the =RCHGetTableCell("http://www.gurufocus.com/financials/"&Ticker,D$1,"except for per share",">"&$C$5) formulas for the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and per share data).

With the Gurufocus move to 15 year data, the spreadsheet has "crashed", meaning I get #VALUE!, error, and/or blank amounts for almost all fields, the period of which is now the first 10 of the 15 year period (i.e. no financial data for the most recent five years).

Any suggestions on a new formula to go about retrieving the most recent 10 years of financial data from Gurufocus?

Otherwise, is there a different workbook that pulls this 10 year data from another site? I think I moved to the Gurufocus workbook from ADVFN, when the ADVFN website changed their formatting.

Any formula updates, or different 10 year workbook suggestions would be appreciated.

Chuck
