I've just upgraded from Excel 2003 to Excel 2007 (I know very behind the times!) and am looking for a good book to brush up my skills/learn the ribbon/new stuff. I would classify myself as an advanced user so I'm not looking to learn the basics.
I looked at both the Excel 2007 Bible and the Excel 2007 Missing Manual on Amazon and the reviews for both imply they were both rushed to market with lots of errors and large tranches copied from the 2003 versions. Microsofts own Excel 2007 Step by Step is ridiculed even more.
Searching past posts I found several strong recommendations for Excel 2007 Power Programming with VBA by John Walkenbach which looks good but seems to be purely VBA. (Interestingly Walkenbach is also the author of the previously criticized Excel 2007 Bible) - might get both.
Anybody have an opinion/suggestions?
