MS Excel updates of December 9 caused a problem wherein command buttons ceased working. The problem affected Excel 2007 and 2010 and probably other versions.

If you recently installed the updates and you are experiencing the problem, there is a simple solution at:

The link I provided takes you to the wrong thread.

The solution I used was to close Excel, then, on my PC, go to:

C:\Users][username]\AppData\Local\Temp\Excel8.0

and to delete MSForms.exd and Outlook.exd.

Restarting Excel fixed my problem. If you're the nervous type, rename the '.exd' files to a different suffix and then restart Excel.

Pulling the ADVFN.com data still appears to be a problem. It had some
good balance sheet information.
