I'm still having trouble on figuring out how to code =RCHGetYahooQuotes to get the last price for IBM. I know the example you referenced me to show the last price as |1 but I can't find an element number for |1.

Thanks

Take a look at the RCHGetYahooQuotes() function. The documentation will have examples of using the function. There are also templates that show several examples of using the function.

A message on the group gives a quick step-by-step process of setting up a small table:

I want to update my portfolio with the closing price for the day. Are there any sample spreadsheets showing sample portfolios containing this information?

Try:

=RCHGetYahooQuotes("IBM","l1")

That 2-charter "l1" a lower case letter L and a number 1. I'm assuming they
did it because it's kind of like, "Last one". :)

Randy,

I have the feeling that you've answered this before but do you know whether your add-in works in VBA on the Mac OS X architecture?

If not, what calls might need to be re-written?

Thanks.

In order to use it on the Mac, you need to run it under a simulated Windows
environment. The add-in has a number of calls to Microsoft's Windows
dynamic link libraries...
